This robust single-speed mixer is designed for efficient, no-fuss mixing of a wide range of construction materials. With a no-load speed of 0–500rpm, it offers reliable, steady performance and includes a lock-on switch for ease during extended use.

Supplied with a 120mm mixing paddle (M14 x 2 female fitting), this mixer is ideal for combining dispersion paints, cement, grout, levelling compounds, and sealants. Suitable for DIY and light professional use.

How to Apply Silcotex

1. Prep Your Mix
Shake the Silcotex pack and pour it into a plastic tub. Break up any clumps by hand—it may be compressed from packaging.

2. Add Water & Mix
Pour in 6–8 litres of warm (not hot) water.
Do not exceed this amount!
Mix thoroughly by hand for at least 50 minutes, or use a plaster drill for 25 minutes.

3. Let It Rest
Cover and let the mix rest for 20 minutes. After that, knead it one more time by hand to remove any remaining clumps.

4. Adjust if Needed
If needed, add up to 1 litre of extra water to make spreading easier.

5. Apply to Wall
Use a plastic trowel to apply a 2mm layer, working corner to corner. Stir the mix every 20 minutes to keep consistency.

6. Smooth & Finish
For best results, smooth the surface with a wet trowel as needed for up to 2 hours after application. Use side lighting to check for evenness.

Drying Time:
Allow 24–48 hours, depending on room temperature and humidity.
